This policy explains how Niyaty LLP and BlockerPlus handle your personal information.
Niyaty LLP ("we", "us", "our") operates the BlockerPlus mobile application (the "App") and the website at niyaty.in. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using BlockerPlus, you agree to this policy.
When you contact us, we collect your name, email address, and message content. When you sign up for our waitlist, we collect your email address.
We may collect limited diagnostic and crash data including device type, OS version, app version, and crash logs. This data does not include any content from your blocked browsing activity.
All blocking decisions are made locally on your device. URLs and screen content observed by our Accessibility Service are never transmitted to our servers.
We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
BlockerPlus stores the following locally on your device: your blocking preferences and custom blocklists, usage statistics and streak data, your subscription status, and your accountability partner's contact identifier. This information is not accessible to us. Uninstalling the App will delete this data.
We do not use advertising SDKs or integrate with social platforms for tracking purposes.
If you enable the accountability partner feature, your designated partner will receive notifications if you attempt to disable, bypass, or uninstall the App. We do not share your browsing history or blocked content with your accountability partner. You should obtain the consent of the person you designate before adding them.
Contact information is retained as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry. Crash reports are retained for up to 90 days. Waitlist email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. Data stored locally on your device is retained until you uninstall the App.
BlockerPlus is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at hello@niyaty.in. The App may be installed by parents on devices used by children for parental control purposes — in this case, the parent or guardian is the account holder.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, object to processing of, or receive a portable copy of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@niyaty.in. We will respond within 30 days.
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. If you believe there has been a security incident affecting your data, please contact us immediately at hello@niyaty.in.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
